Monday Meals
Join Girls’ Girl as we volunteer with Monday Meals, serving our unhoused neighbors by delivering hope and kindness, along with meals, water, and hygiene kits.
Champagne & Fried Chicken
Benefiting Birmingham’s chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier, which to date has awarded nearly $300,000 in grants and scholarships to women across Alabama pursuing culinary and hospitality careers. This year, there are two ways to enjoy the event: the signature drive-through for grab-and-go and a full-on party at Pepper Place on 29th Street with table service and live music. Either way, you'll enjoy a gourmet picnic for two featuring Southern-fried chicken produced on site by the Dames along with homemade sides, desserts, fresh flowers, and a cold bottle of bubbles.

Proceeds from the race benefit the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation, which provides GYN cancer programs to women, patients, and caregivers throughout the year, focusing on early detection research, awareness education, and support services for GYN cancer patients and families.
Rooted: Women in Food
A market take-over featuring female artisans, chef demos, book signings, conversation and more, Rooted: Women in Food presented by Baptist Health Women’s Medical Center is part of the Market’s month-long tribute to Women in Food and is part of the Southbound Food Festival.
This year, Legacy in Motion explores the lineage of Southern cooking – celebrating Southern women chefs, their culinary influences and the traditions they carry forward. The morning will feature four contemporary chefs honoring the women who inspired them, each through a live cooking demo and panel discussion – Carrying Legacy Forward – a conversation on influence, tradition, and sharing, with Q&A woven throughout. Surrounded by female farmers, artisans, and makers, the event cultivates conversation, connection, and a deeper appreciation for the role women play in our food system.
Ticketed guests can continue the experience at a Rooted Meet & Greet presented by Atlanta Dairies – featuring brunch cocktails by local female mixologists, bites from Hot and Hot Fish Club, and time to connect with the chefs.
Design Month Pop-Up: Fashion
Join Birmingham’s creative, marketing, and PR crowd for a casual happy hour celebrating the people behind the brands, campaigns, spaces, and experiences that give our city its style. Presented by Malone Unlimited.
Design Month Pop-Up: Culture
Join downtown neighbors, business owners, and Birmingham’s graphic design and digital media crowd for coffee and a celebration of the creative talent shaping how our city looks, feels, and tells its story. Presented by Malone Unlimited.
Roz Houston Presents Eric Essix at the carver theatre
A night of music, culture and purpose, featuring a cash bar, food, and complimentary valet, and benefiting the Committee to Elect Rosilyn “Roz” Houston for AL State Treasurer.

Femmeprov
A celebration of women, nonbinary and gender nonconforming people in comedy, Femmeprov is an opportunity to jam in a safe space! Jams are for people of all experience levels to play together. Men are invited to come watch and cheer on their friends and peers!
Screen Printing Happy Hour
Hannah of MAKE & hm.prints and Pepper of Pepper Palm will be teaching you how to pull your own silk screen print on shirts and posters featuring a custom Birmingham Design Month print. Hosted by Malone Unlimited and MAKEbhm.

Sidewalk Film Festival
The 28th Annual Sidewalk Film Festival has been recognized as a top 25 film festival by MovieMaker Magazine and by TIME Magazine as one of the Top 10 Festivals for the Rest of Us. With our own Girls’ Girl Chloe Cook at the helm, Sidewalk brings hundreds of films to Birmingham, with a dedicated track for Women in Film, along with civil and social issues in the Life & Liberty track, Black filmmakers in the Black Lens track, and LGBTQ+ filmmakers and content with the SHOUT track. One of Birmingham’s very best events!

- Birmingham and the surrounding area. If a woman can drive to it after work, it counts.
- For women or girls, or benefiting women or girls. It does not have to be women-only.
- A real date, a real address, and a real link. If any of the three is missing, we’ll hold it until you have them.
- Anyone can submit. You do not have to be a Girls’ Girl, and it does not have to be your own event.
- Send it at least two weeks out when you can, so there’s time for it to be seen.
